Okorocha, Loyalists Resolve To Support Tinubu, Uzodimma

A former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, and his supporters, known as the ‘Rescue Mission Political Family,’ have resolved to pray, support and work for President Bola Tinubu to ensure that he succeeds in office.

The former Senator, who represented Imo West (Orlu) Senatorial District (2019- 2023), and his loyalists from the 27 local councils of the state, also resolved to lend their support to the incumbent governor of the state, Hope Uzodimma.

The decisions were contained in a statement issued, yesterday, by Sam Onwuemeodo on behalf of the Rescue Mission Political Family, pointing out that the meeting was held at Okorocha’s Owerri residence, presided over by the former governor, with the deputy leader of group, Uche Nwosu, among others, in attendance.

The statement reads: “It was resolved that the Rescue Mission Political Family, would continue to pray, support and work assiduously for the success of Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government at the centre, which he superintends.

“It was unanimously resolved that the Rescue Mission Political Family would continue to support Uzodimma and the APC government in the state, which he presides over. “It was equally agreed that the Rescue Mission Political Family would continue to work hard for the growth and progress of APC at all levels.”
