Ogun State Government Vows To Apprehend Robbers Who Raped Four Female Students

The Ogun state government has vowed to arrest those responsible for raping four female students of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED)

The state Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyede said this when he visited the school following the attack in the early hours of Tuesday 

Salako-Oyede, who was accompanied by Commissioner of Police, Alamutu Abiodun, and Commissioner of Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, said the victims had been moved to the state-owned Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, for proper medical attention.

The Deputy Governor also noted that, in collaboration with the Commissioner of Police and the Commissioner of Education, she has held a crucial meeting with the management and students of TASUED to discuss concrete steps to bolster security measures and foster a safe environment on campus and in the adjacent host community

On Tuesday some suspected armed robbers invaded Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in the early hours of Tuesday.

The perpetrators targeted the Abapawa area of the campus, which houses students, perpetrating the heinous act. The incident has sparked outrage and concern among the university community and beyond.
