Obiofia Umuenem In Diaspora, a community in diaspora, held its monthly meeting on Sunday,19th Nov 2023 with almost all its members in attendance.
The chairman Comrade Dozie Olisa in his opening remarks thanked the members present for their support throughout the year.
He promised that the organization will embark on developmental programs for the people of Obiofia Umuenem Otolo Nnewi in 2024.
He also praised the national leadership of the community for their good works especially the ongoing work at the community hall and the construction of mother and child hospital in the community which he said is timely.
The Vice Chairman of the Organization and also a former PG of the Community, Comrade Ebuka Okafor commented that since the current leadership of the community already has ongoing projects, especially the construction of a new community hall and the hospital by the current regime; it will be wise for the organization to give them support so as to finish the project they have started saying that one good term deserve another.
Mr Humphrey Ubah (UK), supported the motion saying that the current leadership in the community need to be supported to finish what they have started.
The members present unanimously agreed to support Com Chibunna Okeke and his exco for 2nd term.
