The North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum has said the Northern region will stand behind President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The APC Forum, in a statement, released after a meeting in Abuja, said the region would vote for President in the 2027 presidential election.
The statement, signed by Chairman of the North-Central APC Forum, Saleh Zazzaga, stressed that the Forum decided to endorse Tinubu for a second term because his administration has extended several opportunities to the North-Central since he assumed office as President in 2023.
The development is coming on the heels of opposition to Tinubu’s reelection by the Arewa Consultative Forum and its youth wing, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum.
