The incident was captured in a viral video circulating on TikTok.
In the video, the man and his wife are sitting together, with the man wearing a necklace made of glued-together ₦1,000 notes around his neck.
His wife is also seen wearing a necklace made of ₦500 notes.
Upon its circulation online, commenters have tagged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the agency responsible for combating financial crimes, expressing concern over the misuse of the naira.
