Sharing is caring

Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Anambra State Governor and founder of the NGO “Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo,” expressed her willingness to collaborate with groups that share similar goals.

She made this statement during a meeting with state officers of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) in Anambra State, held at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia yesterday.

The NCWS visited to strengthen their collaboration with Mrs. Soludo’s NGO and announced their plan to present her with an award of excellence in recognition of the impact she has made through her healthy living movement.

The award will be presented at the NCWS’s national convention in Abuja later this year.

In her address to the group, Mrs. Soludo commended them for their important work, noting that their efforts align with the broader vision of the current administration. She emphasized that the Governor of Anambra State and his administration are intentionally focused on development policies, and women in various public positions in the state are performing exceptionally well.

Mrs. Soludo urged the women to leverage their association to take on greater responsibilities, support women in politics, combat social vices, and actively engage in social education and grassroots awareness. She reiterated her call for mothers to prioritize their responsibilities at home and in raising children, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships with their children to better understand their struggles and challenges.

Lady Theresa Nnalue, the President of NCWS Anambra State Branch, also sought the organization’s involvement in Mrs. Soludo’s healthy living crusade.
