The Exiled self acclaimed Biafran leader Simon Ekpa, has claimed that Biafrans are prepared to exit Nigeria.
He said since the launch of a voting platform over two million Biafrans had cast ballots in favour of a self-referendum.
Remember that BRGIE presented the self-referendum for the electronic voting platform on February 1st?
In a statement released on Saturday, Ekpa, a legal practioner in Finland, said that the fervour with which Biafrans welcomed electronic voting demonstrated their desire for freedom.
Also claiming that more Biafrans have voted for a self-referendum in the last 10 days than have come from the southeast in Nigeria’s general elections of 2023.
He stated that while stages two and three will start in June and go through October 2024, the voting will continue until May 2024.
“Stage one will(Which commenced February 1 2024, with the E-voting) end in May, stage two start in June and end in August, stage 3 starts in September and end on October 30, 2024″ Indeed, we are on the verge of achieving liberation”,
“Over two Million Biafrans have voted in self-referendum in just a few days of E-voting and considering the number of voters from Eastern Nigeria in the last general election, it is clear that Biafrans are ready to go.
