Manchester United Set To Sign Dutch Player Joshua Zirkzee From Bologna

Unconfirmed reports say Joshua Zirkzee is set to join Manchester United after agreeing a five-year contract.


The 23-year-old Netherlands who was part of Dutch team knocked out of Euro 2024 on Wednesday night at the hands of England is set to become United’s first signing for the new season


Reports say the forward has agreed a deal with the Red Devils with an announcement set to be made in the coming days.


The player’s release clause of £34million is set to be activated.


Zirkzee proved to be key in Bologna’s fifth-place finish in Serie A last season, which qualified them for the Champions League.



He scored 12 league goals and four assists for the Italian club making him a target of other clubs including German side Bayern Munich.


Zirkzee might not be the only Dutchman arriving at Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils are also progressing positively in their quest for Bayern Munich centre-back Matthijs de Light.
