Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that he will leave the Premier League champions at the end of next season
Guardiola arrived at the Etihad Stadium eight years ago and has 12 months left on his current contract.
It is understood City will give the Spaniard space to make a final decision on his future.
Left to the club, they want Guardiola to extend his successful tenure and sign a new deal.
Guardiola has so far won 15 major trophies, including their first Champions League.
But the club’s hierarchy fear that Guardiola’s ninth year will represent the end.
He won the league this season becoming the first manager to win four Successive Premier League title but lost the FA Cup Final to Manchester United on Saturday
