Saunar Mamu a Kano Suburbs town suffering from Water shortage for over 21 years received a huge relief from the LG Electronics, Life Is Good, who build to them a high powered Solar Borehall that will serve over 300 Houses.
Speaking during the commissioning of the ninth Solar Borehall to be build by the LG Life is Good, Marketing Manager, Mr Paul Mbah, said they had worked extramile to locate the Community who are suffering the problems of water.
The area which is Nassarwa Local Government metropolitan Council area, was said to have depends solidly on Water Vendors who sales the Commodity to them at a very exhubitant Price.
Mr Paul hints that the LG Life is Good, have taken it upon themselves to gives much priority to the supply of Water to Communities suffering from the acutes shortage of it.
“We are building this Solar Powered Borehall to you so that your suffering will come to an end, but what you should do for Us is to ensure that you maintain it by consistent supervision of the project”
“LG Life Good LP access to portable Water is necessary for everybody, that is why we are carrying the project for Kano environment where LP is building a Solar powered Borehall, want the Committee to work extra mile in maintaining it, this is ninth LP water projects around here”
Abbas Ambrush, General Manager of LG Electronics, announced plans to execute similar projects in various parts of Kano State, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to its corporate social responsibility.
Ambrush also commended the people of the state for their generous patronage of LG Electronics products, acknowledging the significant role it plays in the company’s ability to give back to the community.
Speaking the District Head of Nassarwa Local Government, and who represents the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii, Kabiru Tijjani Hashim, warned the village head to ensure the maintenance of the projects.
The local government Chairman, Yusuf Imam, said that as Council area they would gives their extra support to the Borehall to make it last for a long time.
Mallam Sulaiman Rabiu one of the Imams of the Community, said for the last 20 years they were suffering from the acute shortage of water and they had to uses water vendors to survive.
