Labour Party Heavyweight, Utomi, Calls Out Onanuga for ‘Defamatory’ Allegations”

Sharing is caring

“Professor Pat Utomi, a prominent political economist and Labour Party chieftain, has slapped President Bola Tinubu’s aide, Bayo Onanuga, with a N500 billion lawsuit threat.

The legal action follows Onanuga’s controversial allegation that Utomi and other supporters of Peter Obi are planning nationwide protests against hunger, economic hardship, and naira devaluation.

Utomi vehemently denies the accusation, stating he has been out of the country for an extended period.

He demands Onanuga retract his statement or provide concrete evidence to support his claims. Failure to do so, Utomi warns, may lead to international legal action, citing potential “treasonable felony charges” and human rights violations.

The high-stakes dispute has sparked intense interest, as Utomi stands firm against what he perceives as a malicious attack on his reputation.”
