This upgraded pharma-grade warehouse is designed to protect pharmaceutical products and aligns with His Excellency Senator Uba Sani’s agenda to make healthcare accessible to all residents of Kaduna. This significant project also adheres to the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH).
The upgraded warehouse features a storage area of 1,600 square meters, equipped with Quality Control, Chemistry, and Microbiology laboratories, two cold rooms, and 13 administrative offices.
Notably, Kaduna State has the largest warehouse among the 22 states involved, and alongside Nasarawa State, is one of the only states in Nigeria to achieve “maturing ready-to-integrate” status. This status is a crucial step toward the integration of Public Health Products and Essential Medicines.
