A kidnappers’ den was busted last night by the Anambra State Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Umuezopi, Oraifite, Anambra State.
According to eyewitness footage, the CSO group raided the den, a compound which belonged to one chukwuma ndubuizu, engaging in a shootout with the kidnappers, who fled the scene after being outnumbered.
The den was subsequently set ablaze, and a kidnapped victim was rescued by the CSO group.
In an interview, the rescued victim recounted his ordeal, stating that the kidnappers blindfolded him and demanded a ransom of ₦100 million.
