In celebration of International Women’s Day, Dentsu Agyle Nigeria, a prominent integrated marketing and media agency, is organizing a business masterclass and symposium exclusively for female students at the University of Lagos.
Themed “Women Leading Change: Empowering the Next Generation of Marketing and Creative Mavericks,” the masterclass is scheduled for Friday, April 12, to be held at the Theatre Hall in the Department of Creative Arts.

Dentsu Agyle, a full-service agency with expertise in media services, communication planning, creative services, production, and marketing, is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry.

Marian Ogaziechi, the Chief Operating Officer of Dentsu Agyle Nigeria, expressed pride in commemorating International Women’s Day by providing female students with valuable opportunities.

She announced that selected participants would receive support in the form of a N2million business grant at the symposium, as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative targeted to empowering female undergraduate and postgraduate students in Mass Communication, Creative Arts, and related fields.

The event, according to Ogaziechi, aims to share expertise and empower young female minds to thrive in the dynamic world of marketing and communications.

Ifeoma Uzor, the Project Manager, highlighted that attendees would gain insights from accomplished female leaders, with discussions focusing on breaking gender stereotypes, fostering self-belief in the workplace, building professional identity, and developing essential skills for success in the marketing and advertising industry.

Furthermore, Oladunni Akinola, the Project Mobilization Officer, announced Dentsu Agyle’s interest in offering internship opportunities to outstanding students, aiming to nurture future female leaders in the industry.
