The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday said criminals operating in the Orsuihitukwa, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, are funded and recruited by Finland-based self-styled Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa.
IPOB explained that the criminals are not members of its Eastern Security Network, ESN, but infiltrators recruited and funded by Ekpa.

Describing their action as an “unfortunate dance of shame,” Powerful insisted that ESN has no camp in Orsuihiteukwa, adding that the militia arm of IPOB is not a terrorist organization.
A statement by Powerful reads partly: “The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by the great prophet and liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu sees the dance of shame by the Nigeria Joint Security Forces at Eke Ubahi Eze market at Orsuihiteukwa in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State as making a caricature of the Nigeria Security institutions. ESN does not have any camps at Orsuihitukwa, and all ESN camps are intact.
