His Royal Majesty Eze Samuel Okeke, Chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers and Community Policing, as well as the South East Policing Council of Traditional Rulers, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, for overseeing the successful unveiling of the Imo Royal Fathers’ Compendium. The event took place at the Obieze Imo in Owerri.
Speaking to journalists in Owerri, Eze Okeke highlighted the significance of the project, noting that its conception was a testament to Governor Uzodimma’s vision. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective purpose in achieving such milestones.
The Imo traditional leaders lauded the governor for producing the compendium, the first of its kind in Nigeria. They described the document as a crucial resource that accurately records their identities, helping to prevent issues of impersonation.
Eze NJD Nwaturuocha of Nguru Nwekeoha, Chairman of Aboh Mbaise Council of Traditional Rulers, also expressed his gratitude, stating that it was a privilege to witness this historic compilation during his tenure alongside Eze Okeke.
