Imo State Welcomes First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for Two-Day Working Visit

Imo State rolled out the Red Carpet to welcome Nigeria’s First Lady, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on a two-day working visit.

Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, H.E. Hajiya Nana Shettima, the wives of State Governors, and other Dignitaries, the First Lady was warmly received by the people and leadership of Imo State.

As part of her Itinerary, Senator Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of Eze Imo (Obi Ndi Eze), H.R.M. Eze Dr. Emmanuel C. Okeke CFR, Chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers. The visit underscored her commitment to fulfilling her Campaign Promises, as she expressed her gratitude to Ndi Eze for their unwavering support during the elections.

The First Lady was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the Council of Traditional Rulers, the 27 Local Government Chairmen, State Government Appointees and their Spouses, and the people of Imo State.

In her Address, Senator Tinubu highlighted the Transformative Policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration, emphasizing initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of Nigerians. She expressed optimism about the Nation’s Future, calling on Parents to instill innovation and adaptability in their Children while embracing Advancements in Technology.

The First Lady also stressed the importance of harnessing Nigeria’s abundant Mineral Resources, prioritizing Agriculture, and fostering Unity to restore the Nation’s Glory.

According to her, these efforts are essential to building a secure and prosperous future for upcoming generations.

This historic visit was supported by the efforts of Chief Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma, FIMC, CMC, First Lady of Imo State, Founder of GoodHope Flourish Foundation, and Secretary of the Renewed Hope Initiative, who played a pivotal role in coordinating the event.

The people of Imo State and the Traditional Rulers lauded the First Lady’s Dedication and expressed their commitment to supporting the Administration’s Vision for a better Nigeria.
