This misleading “breaking news” generated concern among well-wishers and supporters.
The Chief Press Secretary Sam Onwuemeodo clarified that these reports are entirely false, confirming that Okorocha is in excellent health. Since leaving office in 2019, he has not experienced any major health issues, including even minor ailments like headaches. In fact, Okorocha recently attended the burial of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu on November 1, 2024, where he participated fully in both the church service and burial. Following the ceremony, he hosted several prominent guests, including Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, at his Owerri residence.
