The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi has taken to his official X account to react after an X user said he can swear on anything that the Nigeria Police Force, NPF has not made any arrest since the death of popular Ogene Musician, Igbo Jah.
The X user made the comment on his page on Saturday after the Enugu State Police Command announced the death of the musician.
Reacting, Muyiwa Adejobi said the policeman has been arrested and will be prosecuted. He said they have contacted the command and necessary action has been taken.
The Police Public Relations Officer told the X user not to bother swearing on anything.
According to Muyiwa Adejobi on his page;
“The policeman has been arrested and he will be prosecuted. We will not condone any reckless exercise of power and criminality in the police. It’s unfortunate to have recorded this ugly incident. We have contacted the command and necessary action has been taken. May the soul of the departed rest in peace and God consoles the family and friends of his. So don’t bother to swear on anything. We have acted appropriately. Thanks”.
