Identity Of Pregnant Woman Buried Alive By Enugu Ritualist Revealed

Sharing is caring

The Enugu community has been shaken to its core after the body of a pregnant woman was discovered in a ritualist’s pit in Ezeagu. The victim has been identified as Joy Miracle, a single mother of two, known for her warm smile and popular food stand in Oji River.

Joy had been missing for days before her body was tragically found during a police raid on the compound of a notorious native doctor, Ezeani, suspected to be the leader of a deadly ritualist cult.

Joy had already faced immense hardship — just months ago, she lost her husband in a fuel tanker explosion, leaving her to raise her two young children alone. Despite her loss, she kept going… until evil came knocking.

Reports suggest she was deceived by a man who posed as her boyfriend — a cult member running a barbing salon in Oji River. He allegedly lured her to the ritualist’s den under false pretenses. He’s now in custody, as investigations continue.

The entire Oji River and Ezeagu communities are in mourning. Friends and neighbors remember Joy as a hardworking, kind woman who didn’t deserve such a cruel end.

The Enugu State Police have vowed to leave no stone unturned in bringing every single perpetrator to justice.
