The Mayor of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), on Saturday 15th February, 2025, joined the people of Nnobi community as they swear-in newly elected executives of Ngo Nnobi Development Union(NNDU).
Speaking during the event, Hon. Obi appreciated the former executives for their selfless service to the community and congratulated the newly elected executives for their victory.
She urged the new executives led by Hon. Ilogbenu to remain resolute to the ideal of fairness in all they do, stating that the progress of the community should be their top-priority.
Council Mayor urged them to key into Governor Soludo’s vision of sustainable, greener, livable and prosperous homeland.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of N1,500,000 to the schools in the community for payment of WACE fees for forty five students.
