Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo Celebrates Christmas With Constituents

The Honourable member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, in collaboration with 1001+ Voices Initiative, hosted the first-ever Unity and Christmas Party on December 30, 2024, in his home town, Ojoto.

In his brief address to his kinsmen, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in fostering development in Ojoto and the 17 other towns he represents.

He urged the youths especially to always maintain good conduct, noting that he had facilitated the establishment of a modern ICT centre at Boys Secondary School, Ojoto, for the benefit of children and youths. He further highlighted his collaboration with other well-meaning individuals in renovating health centres and constructing roads within Idemili North and South.

Hon. Okonkwo reiterated his commitment to upholding the legacy of compassion, empowerment, and service established by his late father, Sen. Annie Okonkwo.

Similarly, the convener of 1001+ Voices Initiative, Mr. Izuchukwu Mojekwu, in his address, noted that the primary aim of his organization is to inspire, develop, and empower individuals who will advocate for good governance and advance democratic principles for a progressive society.

The event featured entertainment, refreshments, cash gifts, and the distribution of items to constituents. Lessons on the significance of unity and Christmas were shared, followed by a dance session with the host, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo.

In attendance were Chief Ndubueze Emejulu (OSDU Chairman ), Hon. Ugochukwu Chukwukelu, professionals, community leaders, elders, youths, and a host of friends of Ndi Ojoto.
