The Honourable member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, attended Ezema Village Day on 3rd January 2025 and pledged support for the community’s infrastructural development projects.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Okonkwo expressed joy over the program, emphasizing that achieving greater development requires collaboration between individuals and the government. He promised to illuminate the community with solar-powered streetlights, equip the community health center, and facilitate road construction projects.
In a similar address, the chairman of the occasion and former President General of Ojoto, Chief Donatus Anozie (Ezemadike Ojoto), commended Hon. Okonkwo for his contributions. He highlighted that Ezema Village Day is an occasion to unite the industrious sons and daughters of Ezema Village, Ojoto, to strategize on the community’s development. Chief Anozie also expressed gratitude to the supporters of the community’s progress and announced his own support for the projects.
The event was graced by notable sons and daughters of Ezema Village, Ojoto, including Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, as well as professionals, community leaders, youths, and friends of Ndi Ezema Village.
