The Honourable Member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, has been conferred with the Anambra Best Member of House of Representatives Award for Community Projects and Empowerment by Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Anambra State Chapter.
Hon. Okonkwo was honoured with the award on Saturday, 14th December 2024, in recognition of his people-oriented projects, empowerment initiatives, and immeasurable contributions to the progress of Ndigbo in general.
Receiving the award on behalf of Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, Chief Mbanefo (Unopposed) expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition.
“Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo has pursued people-oriented projects, empowered Idemili youths, women, and men from all walks of life, and has been vocal on core issues affecting his constituents and Ndigbo. The award bestowed on him is well deserved,” Chief Mbanefo said.
