… As APGA Welcome Labour Party Defectors
The Convener of Women Initiative for Greater Anambra, WIGA, Yesterday joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Ichida and Anaocha to welcome the Labour Party House of Assembly Candidate in the last governorship election, Chief Osita Ozalagba and his followers back to APGA.
Speaking during the meeting hosted by Chief Innocent Chiekezie in his country home, Ichida, Hon Amaka Obi, advised APGA faithful to be firm and always stand by the party.
According to her, APGA has continued to grow from strength to strength and can only grow better when members are steadfast.
She noted that Governor Soludo has strengthened APGA through good governance and encouraged members to be proud of APGA as a brand.
She welcomed them to APGA and encouraged the defectors to support Governor Soludo as they have made the right choice
The event was attended by government functionaries including the Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, his Youth Development counterpart, Mr Patrick Agha Mba, the Chairman Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Mr Patrick Onyedum, APGA Chairman of Anaocha LGA, Chief Anthony Ugorji among others.
