The people of Ubaha and Ururo Umunze could not contain their joy as the People’s Mayor, Hon. Shedrack Azubuike today concluded the palliative job which was earlier initiated.
The road which has been a serious worry to the residents of the area, and death traps in the rainy season received the attention of the People’s Mayor as he flagged off the first phase of Palliative Jobs on Roads in the Local Government.
Some of the residents of the area who expressed their joy, commended the Mayor for completing the job at a shortest period of time and also for considering their health by ensuring that the workers sprayed water to control dust. They noted that the palliative job is a very commendable Christmas package and prayed for God’s blessings upon the Mayor.
