The Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi, has visited Afor Nnobi burnt market in idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
Speaking during the visitation, Hon. Obi expressed her sincere sympathy to the victims of the fire outbreak and the people of Nnobi in general and urged them to remain strong especially In this difficult time.
Hon. Obi who pledged support to victims of fire outbreak charges them to be careful with usage of electric appliances.
She also visited ASMATA market women whose shanties were demolished by ASMATA. She said that, the demolition was not from government but ASMATA.
They showered praises on Anambra State Government and reaffirmed their unflinching support to the State Government.
Earlier on, The ASMATA Chairman of Nnobi market, Chief Ezenchi Ezennabude Ezeoke and the secretary of the market, Mr. Edwin Nnaemelu explained the situation to the market women and assured to work inline with the directive of Hon. Amaka Obi to ensure that peace returns to the market.
