Hon. Amaka Obi Lauds Governor Soludo Over Tremendous Achievements Across All The Sectors, Security Of Lives And Properties

…As Anambra State Commissioner Of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Visits The Council Secretariat.

The Idemili South Local Government Mayor, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), has lauded Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR over the tremendous achievements in the state, including security of lives of properties of the people.

She made the commendation when Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono visited Idemili South local government area. She recognized the vital role that police force play in maintaining peace and order in the council area and Anambra State.

Idemili South Council Mayor appreciated stakeholders, traditional rulers, PGs, Vigilante groups for the support they have given to solution government in curbing the menace in the council area and the state.

Continuing, Hon. Obi said, the people of the council area are looking forward to engage them on a serious security challenges facing the council area, stating that although the situation seems to be under control because of the combined efforts of Anambra AVG Strike Force and police. She added that Idemili South which is made up of seven towns is under policed.

She further demanded for more police men and equally seek for police collaboration with our AVG at different check points and passionately appealed for 24hours patrol of security personnel in our major roads in Idemili South.

Responding, Commissioner Of Police appreciated her for her commitment to the development of the council area, stating that they are taking responsibility of working with the AVG to put them together and bring sanity to the state.

The event was attended by Commissioner For Entertainment, Culture and Tourism, Hon. Don Onyenji, Deputy Mayor, Hon. Ifeanyi Anakuba, Council Leader, Hon. Ernest Ezeunyim, Councillors, traditional ruler of Nnobi, Igwe Engr. Nick Obi, traditional ruler of Alor, Igwe Mac-Anthony Chinedu Eribe Okonkwo, traditional ruler of Ojoto, Igwe Gerald Mbamalu was represented.

Others were Supervisor for Works, Hon. Ebuka Smart, Supervisor for Health, Comrade Ifeanyi Eriobu, Supervisor for Agriculture, Chief Mrs Ifenyinwa Nnekwelugo, Special Adviser on Party Affairs, Hon. Uche Maduekwe(Igwe), past and present appointees, PGs, and many others.
