The Mayor of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), flagged-off skills acquisition training in Alor and commended the benefactor, Evangelist Paul Onuorah(Nwa Jesus of Alor), for embracing Public Private Community Partnership(PPCP).
Speaking during the official commissioning, Hon. Obi advised teeming youth and women in Alor to embrace the gesture by the stakeholder, Evangelist Paul Onuorah and tap into series of skills acquisition trainings available at the sectors.
Council Mayor who was accompanied by Councillors and Stakeholders emphasised the need for everyone to be skill-full to successfully actualize sustainable economic development.
She noted that administration of Governor Charles Soludo CFR is making frantic effort to emphasize the importance of marketable skills acquisition training towards wealth creation and poverty eradication.
She further appealed to relevant stakeholders in the council area to prioritize sustained and result-oriented synergy to wipe out poverty in the council area and Anambra State.
