At least three police officers were gunned down by some unknown person at the Irete area of the Owerri Onitsha express way in Imo state
According to some witnesses who spoke to Ekweanaedo, the policemen were driving along the road when they were double crossed by the Gunmen who were driving in their own car
They immediately shot the driver of the police vehicle before taking out his other colleagues
The sound of the gun shot resulted in a stampede as many people scampered for safety.
An Unconfirmed reports says a POS girl was also killed after being hit by stray bullet
Incident like this is common in Imo state where security agencies are battling with some unknown Gunmen believed to be members of the proscribed IPOB
