Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, joined a group of fellow governors on Monday to console Akwa Ibom’s Governor Umo Eno over the recent loss of his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. Alongside Fubara were Governors AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), and Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa).
Governor AbdulRazaq acknowledged the sadness of the loss but encouraged Eno to find strength in his faith and keep leading Akwa Ibom with courage. Obaseki also reflected on Mrs. Eno’s energy during political campaigns.
In his emotional response, Governor Eno thanked everyone for their prayers, stating that the mourning would last a lifetime. Governor Fubara led a prayer session to close the visit.
