Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, officially commissioned the Agodi-Gate, Civic Centre, and Idi-Ape Improvement Works. The governor also served as the special guest of honor at the event held in Ibadan, Oyo State, where a 32.2-kilometer circular road infrastructure was inaugurated.
In his speech, Governor Soludo praised Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, for his remarkable achievements in development. He emphasized that Governor Makinde’s commitment to the welfare of the people reflects the true essence of governance.
Governor Makinde, as the host governor, highlighted the significance of the road improvement project, stating that it effectively addresses long-standing traffic congestion and urban deterioration. He emphasized his administration’s dedication to infrastructural revolution.
The event reached its climax when Governor Soludo unveiled the commemorative plaque for the road improvement works and cut the ceremonial tape, officially launching the Rashidi Ladoja circular road infrastructure.
Distinguished guests in attendance included the former Military Administrator of the old Oyo State, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, traditional rulers, and members of the clergy. Also present were a former Minister of Works and members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, among others.
