…Swears In Two Commissioners, Acting Chief Judge.
In a recent development to reinforce governance and judicial stability in Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodimma has officially sworn in Hon. Justice Nnamdi T. Nzeukwu as the Acting Chief Judge of Imo State.
The appointment is a remarkable step in ensuring the efficiency and leadership of the state’s judiciary.
Alongside the inauguration of the Acting Chief Judge, Governor Uzodimma also administered the oath of office to two newly confirmed commissioners, Prof. Bernard Thompson Ikegwuoha and Dr. (Mrs.) Vivian Chioma Egu.
Their inclusion in the state’s executive council is expected to bolster the administration’s commitment to effective governance and institutional development.
Prior to the swearing-in ceremony, the Imo State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Speaker Chike Olemgbe, had screened and confirmed the two commissioner-nominees in an executive session preceding lthe plenary.
Following the confirmation, Clerk of the House, Mrs. Chinelo Emeghara, was directed to formally communicate the decision to the governor, paving the way for the swearing-in event.
