In a recent move to enhance governance and improve efficiency across various sectors, the Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of seven new Special Advisers (SAs). This decision reflects his administration’s commitment to effective service delivery and structured policy implementation.
The newly appointed Special Advisers, drawn from different fields of expertise, are expected to bring their wealth of experience to the administration, complementing the ongoing efforts to drive sustainable development in the state.
The appointees and their designated portfolios are as follows:
Chinasa Nwaneri – Special Adviser, Monitoring and Compliance
Steve Asimobi – Special Adviser, Strategy and Communication
Emeka Iheanacho – Special Adviser, Development Centre and Coordination
Perry Opara – Special Adviser, Political Affairs
Rejoice Ndudinachi – Special Adviser, Aviation
Willie Okoliegwo – Special Adviser, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
Charles Ijezie – Special Adviser, Rural Mobilisation
The new appointees are expected to commence their duties with immediate effect, contributing their expertise to the realization of the governor’s developmental agenda.
