Governor Alex Otti has inaugurated the reconstruction and dualization of the 5.95km stretch from Abia Express Tower to Onu-Imo Bridge, showcasing his administration’s dedication to modernizing Abia State’s infrastructure.
This landmark project is part of the Abia City Gate Initiative, designed to transform the state’s entry points into beacons of progress and development.
Awarded to the renowned Craneberg Construction Company, the project will feature dual drainage systems and solar-powered streetlights, ensuring durability and safety. The construction is set to be completed within 18 months.
In his address, Governor Otti emphasized his administration’s goal of building a model state with infrastructure as the backbone of economic growth and social advancement.
