Governor Siminialayi Fubara Has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Rivers State into an economic powerhouse through industrialization, support for small and micro enterprises, and the development of critical infrastructure.

Represented by the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Victor Oko-Jumbo, Governor Fubara made this declaration at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) permanent complex in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area.

“Our vision for Rivers State is one of prosperity, where businesses thrive, investments flourish, and opportunities abound for all our residents,” Governor Fubara stated. He emphasized that the new PHCCIMA structure is a testament to the administration’s dedication to creating a supportive business environment.

Governor Fubara lauded PHCCIMA for its role in the state’s development, underscoring the administration’s focus on infrastructure as the foundation of economic growth. He assured that investments in roads, power, water, and other essential infrastructures remain a top priority to make Rivers State a preferred destination for businesses and investors.

PHCCIMA President Sir Mike Elechi highlighted the significance of the new complex, which will provide modern facilities and a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs. He noted that the complex will be a hub for business activities, fostering innovation and growth.

Dr. Darlington Orji, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ikwerre LGA, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s continuous support for Ikwerre Local Government Area, pledging the LGA’s reciprocation of his goodwill.
