Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has stated that he will not consider running for president as long as former President Goodluck Jonathan is available to lead the country.

Mohammed made this statement while responding to a non-governmental organization’s call for him to consider a presidential run in 2027.

The governor expressed his confidence in Jonathan’s ability to excel in a future presidential role, citing his experience and inclusive approach.

He emphasized that he would support Jonathan with his “blood” if he decides to run.

Mohammed also highlighted Jonathan’s past achievements, including his efforts to address issues like the Almajiri system and create initiatives for unemployed youths.

He believes that Jonathan’s leadership style is what the country needs, and he would not present himself for leadership as long as Jonathan is available.
