Fulham have submitted a bid for Crystal Palace’s Joachim Andersen.

The Cottagers have made a £20m bid for the 28-year-old Danish center-back, who has been a key player for Palace since joining from Lyon in 2020.

However, Palace is holding out for a higher price, valuing Andersen at around £40m.

Fulham is eager to strengthen their defense after losing Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea and Tim Ream to Charlotte FC.

They had previously attempted to sign Aston Villa’s Diego Carlos, but their bid was rejected.

Interestingly, Andersen has a history with Fulham, having spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Craven Cottage from Lyon. He has since become a mainstay for Palace, making 111 appearances for the club.
