Following the conclusion of group matches at the on going Africa Cup of Nations, the competition has entered it’s last sixteen stage

At this stage of the competition, it is the winner who takes it all match. Losers are eliminated while the winners move to the next stage which is the quarter finals.

If a game fails to produce a winner, after full and regulation time, there will be a penalty shootout to determine who moves to the next round

At the end of this round eight countries will emerge for the quarter final
