FG Pledges To Sustain Ongoing Infrastructural Development Drive

The Minister Of Works, Senator David Umahi says that The Renewed Hope Agenda Of President Ahmed Tinubu is committed to sustain the ongoing infrastructural development in the country to ensure that all the geopolitical zones in the country have the enabling environment for accelerated economic development.


He commended President Tinubu ‘s innovative approach on  roads reconstruction and rehabilitation which is targeted to boost industrialization for employment generation.

The Minister stated this at the ongoing stakeholders engagement meeting for the North-Central Zone which  included Kogi, Nasarawa and Benue on 5th July 2024 in Lafia.

He also commended President Tinubu ‘s innovative approach on  roads reconstruction and rehabilitation which is targeted to boost industrialization for employment generation.

Senator Umahi called on all the stakeholders to support the Renewed  Hope Agenda of President  Tinubu administration  on the infrastructural development drives.

The Governor of Kogi State, his excellency Ahmed Usmane Ododo also commended the effort of Engr Umahi for giving attention to Abaji, Lokoja roads. He acknowledged President Tinubu for working for the benefits of Kogi and Nigerians.

In his welcome address, the chairman Nasarawa Council Chief Hon, justice Sidi Muhamad recalled the confidence and trust he has on President Tinubu’s ability to  deliver on good governance, He commended the President for making the right choice by choosing Engr Umahi as Minster of works.

Adding that the Nasarawa State Council of Chief will continue to give the desired support to the present administration.

Speaking at the occasion the governor of Nasarawa State,his excellency,  Engr Abdullahi A. Sule commended President Tinubu for completing some projects that have been abandoned. He also applauded the honorable Minster David Umahi for his good works.

In his opening remarks, The Director Highways Bridges and Design, Engr. Obioha Bede noted that the essence of the meeting is to expose the design and alignment on  the legacy projects as it affects Kogi, Nasarawa and Benue.
