Governor Peter Mbah has received Prof. Benedict Oramah, President of Afreximbank,the Governor revealed that the visit led to a strategy alignment on Tuesday in his government house office.
He disclosed that he had a great time discussing collaborations between Afreximbank and Enugu state on key projects.
He also noted that Afreximbank wants to work with his administration to ensure the completion of the International Conference Centre, and Hotel Presidential.
He further said that the bank is also keen about assisting his administration in building the Akanu Ibiam International Airport’s new cargo terminal, which will act as a foundation for the creation and growth of our agro-processing zone.
His statement partly reads, “We are also partnering to establish a medical centre of excellence and to develop solid minerals in our state”.
“This is indeed a beautiful way to begin the new year. I appreciate Prof. Oramah’s visit and, most of all, that he selected Enugu State for these unique intervention projects. We shall provide him and his team with all the support they need to succeed”, he added.
