The Member Representing Aguata Federal Constituency, Engr Dominic Okafor, FNSE has said that he is open for collaboration and partnership with civil society and relevant stakeholders in other to fulfill his campaign promise to Ndi Aguata Federal Constituency.
The lawmaker made this known Recently in Abuja when he received a delegation of Yiaga Africa led by its coordinator, Dr Sam Oguche.
Yiaga Africa, A non-profit civic hub committed to the promotion of democratic governance and civic engagement visited to discuss ways in which they can partner with the lawmaker in respect of his plan to hold Town Hall meeting to mark his one year in office.
Speaking during the visit, Hon Okafor expressed gratitude to Yiaga Africa for the visit, he however stated that the planned town hall meeting will provide him an opportunity to interact with his constituents and share insights into his works at the House since he became a member in June 2023, while the constituents would have opportunity to share their challenges, ideas and suggestions for improving governance in the constituency.
