Chief Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has decried the high cost of electricity tariff.
In an open letter to President Tinubu which he shared on his Facebook page, Igbokwe said if the current electricity tariff is not checked, it would kill businesses.
He recounted how he recently purchased N20,000 units and it finished the same day he purchased it.
Also, in another post, Igbokwe said, “There has been a significant improvement in power supply in my area in Lagos but something happened yesterday in Surulere.
We bought N20,000 worth of units yesterday and it finished the same yesterday. What happened even at a time like this”
