Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, assigns portfolio to six new commissioners sworn in recently.
A statement by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government, said the newly sworn-in commissioners are expected to resume at their various ministries with immediate effect.
Hon. Paul Ohonbamu will head the Ministry of Information and Communications, while Hon. Dr. Washington Osifo will oversee the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy. Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu has been assigned to the Ministry of Education.
Others include Sir Lucky Eseigbe, who will lead the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Mr. Andrew Ijegbai, who will head the Ministry of Mining; and Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi, who will oversee the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
