The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has sworn in fresh Coordinators of the 64 Development Centers in the state.
The swearing-in ceremony held at the New Executive Council Chamber, New Government, Abakaliki, witnessed large turnouts of family members, friends and associates of the appointees.
Also sworn in are Special Assistants to the Governor as well as members of the Women Development Centre.
In his charge to the Coordinators and the SAs, Governor Nwifuru urged them to replicate the People’s Charter of Needs in their respective Development Centres.
He announced his readiness to lift more people out of poverty and social inequality by creating various empowerment programmes for the people.
As the representatives of the people, the Governor urged them to ensure the needs of the people are urgently outlined by the Coordinators for his accelerated attention.
While reiterating his zero tolerance for laxity and none performance in the discharge of assignments, the Ebonyi leader further charged the appointees to live up to expectations.
