In A Recent Event Held At The Local Government Secretariat In Dunukofia, Youths hosted Mrs. Nonye Soludo, The Anambra State First Lady, The Team of the program is “Youth Empowerment Program Through Political Engagement.”
During her remarks, Mrs. Soludo highlighted the importance of health and well-being, emphasizing the significance of natural foods and exercise for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Mrs. Soludo discussed the six pillars of HLWNS, stressing the value of garden competitions in schools and homes to revive the farming culture and promote the consumption of natural foods. She emphasized that health is the greatest wealth and many illnesses can be mitigated through the consumption of natural foods.
Moreover, Mrs. Soludo encouraged the youths to exercise for at least 30 minutes each day and ensure they get 8 hours of sleep to care for their mental health. She warned against the use of hard drugs, as they can have detrimental effects on the body and mind.
Mrs. Soludo urged the students to join the HLWNS Club to begin cultivating a healthy life and to support the one youth two skills initiative by continuously developing themselves and striving for good health.
In her address, Mrs. Soludo also praised the achievements of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, noting that over 500km of roads are under construction and over 8,000 teachers have been employed. She encouraged the youths to support the government and work together to make Anambra State the number one state in the nation.
Earlier, the Youth Leader of Dunukofia, Comrade Ifeanyi Ibebugu, said that students and youths from various schools in Dunukofia were selected to prepare for the next election while acknowledging Mrs. Soludo’s contributions to promoting healthy living in the state.
Additionally, the APGA State Youth Leader, Dr. Tochukwu Obiadi, who noted that the event was hosted by APGA Youths Dunukofia, mentioned the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo initiative. He stated that since the inception of the campaign, Dunukofia youths have been conscious about their health and assured her that APGA youths in the state are fully ready for the forthcoming election.
2,000 copies of the Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo Manual were donated to Mrs. Soludo for distribution, and an award of appreciation was presented to her on behalf of her husband for his outstanding work in Dunukofia and Anambra State.
