In a major step forward towards the November 8, 2025 Anambra gubernatorial election, Prince Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu, popularly known as IKUKUOMA, has officially received his Certificate of Return from the party headquarters in Abuja today.
The brief but symbolic ceremony, which took place at the national secretariat of the party, was attended by top party officials both at the national and state levels, stakeholders, and enthusiastic supporters who see IKUKUOMA as a beacon of hope and a fresh wave of transformational leadership for Anambra State.
Presenting the certificate, the National Chairman of the party commended IKUKUOMA for emerging victorious in the party’s primaries, describing him as “a unifier, a visionary, and a servant leader the people of Anambra truly deserve.” He urged the flagbearer to remain focused, resilient, and inclusive as he heads into the campaign season.
Responding with gratitude, Ikukuoma expressed deep appreciation to the party leadership and loyal supporters for entrusting him with the mandate to fly the party’s flag. “This certificate is not just a document, it is a covenant between me and the good people of Anambra. I stand here today, ready to lead a people centered campaign that will restore dignity, development, and direction to our dear state,” he stated.
He further reiterated his commitment to youth empowerment, infrastructural revolution, security, and economic vibrancy, adding that Anambra deserves a government that listens, acts, and delivers.
As the countdown to the November 8th gubernatorial election gathers momentum, political analysts believe Ikukuom’s emergence has reshaped the dynamics of the race, with many describing him as the candidate to watch. Grassroots mobilization is already intensifying, especially across the 21 local government areas, where Ikukuoma’s popularity continues to grow.
With the Certificate of Return now in hand, all eyes are on IKUKUOMA as he continues preparation to officially kick off his campaign tour at the due time armed with a clear vision, a credible track record, and the wind of the people at his back.
