Double Celebration As Louis Carter Foundation Celebrates 10years And Chief Louis Onwugbenu’s 70th Birthday

It was indeed a joyous celebration as Chief Louis Onwugbenu himself marked his 70th Birthday, alongside the Louis  Carter  Foundation solely recognized for its unwavering commitment to education, clocking 10years of unwavering existence on the 31st of December 2023.

The Louis Carter Foundation has been a beacon of hope, sponsoring hundreds of children and youth on their transformative educational journeys.

Founded by the visionary billionaire industrialist, Chief Louis Carter Onwugbenu, hailing from the vibrant town of Nnewi, this foundation has become synonymous with positive change in humanity.

The commemoration of this remarkable milestone kicked off with a heartwarming Thanksgiving Mass at 10 am, held at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Uruagu Nnewi. A congregation of esteemed individuals, including the founder of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma and his wife, Lady Ebere Chukwuma, Mr. Gabriel Chukwuma (Gabros), PG Uruagu, CEO of Organizer Oil, Chief Innocent Okoli, Member representing Nnewi North at the House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Ike, Daniel Ulasi, Peter Nwosu and numerous other distinguished personalities from Nnewi and beyond, gathered to express gratitude to God for the Foundation’s impactful decade and celebrate the life of Chief Louis Onwugbenu.

During the Mass, a papal gift from the Pope and an award from the beneficiaries of the Louis Carter Foundation were presented to Okpataozuora, Chief Louis Onwugbenu, who joyously received these honors with heartfelt thanks, acknowledging the grace of God that has propelled the foundation to this significant milestone. The occasion also witnessed generous donations, running into millions, made by friends of Louis Carter and other well-wishers, further fortifying the foundation’s capacity to make a positive impact.

Following the Thanksgiving Mass, a joyous reception unfolded at Louis Carter’s Compound in Ndiojukwu, Uruagu, Nnewi. Mr. Emeka Onwugbenu, the son of the industrious Chief, shared a touching revelation about the foundation’s inception in 2013, born out of a conversation he had with his father on the potential for men to make a positive impact in the world. He offered prayers for his father’s continued good health and reflected on the national impact the foundation has achieved.

Rev. Fr. Charles Udeke, a member of the board of Trustees for the Louis Carter Foundation, expressed gratitude for the foundation’s existence and shared hopeful aspirations for impacting even more lives in the future. He extended warm wishes to Chief Louis Onwugbenu for many more fruitful years ahead.

The event was enriched by presentations from beneficiaries, including heartfelt testimonials from Miss Daberechi, Victor Okonkwo and several others, adding a classified glamour to the event.
