Three boys are currently on the run after gang raping a fourteen-year-old girl in Otor-Udu Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

It was also learnt that the victim was rushed to the Otu Jeremi General Hospital where it was confirmed that she was raped.
Human rights activist, Kelvin Ejumudo who condemned the act of rape and defilement by the three boys said, “They can run but cannot hide”.
He urged the President-General of Otor-Udu Community to desist from the settlement of cases of rape and ensure that the suspects are handed over to the Police for prosecution.
According to Ejumudo, “Unfortunately they had fled their homes before we got there and are currently at large.”
He added that “It’s high time the Delta state Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori Tobore Oborevwori and the Delta State House of Assembly make stringent laws for rape offenders within the State to serve as a deterrent to others.
