Commissioner Receives Children Living With Sickle Cell Anaemia In Anambra

Mrs Aisha Edward-Maduagwu, National Coordinator Children Living With Sickle Cell, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy And Community Affairs, Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, in his office at the State Government House Awka Anambra State.

Addressing the Commissioner through a written address, Mrs Edward- Maduagwu commended the Anambra State Government and the Commissioner in particular for it’s efforts towards restoring peace to most of the communities in the state.

She further stated that the visit was to intimate the commissioner on some of the challenges facing the children and seek his assistance.

Mrs Edward- Maduagwu further listed lack of shelter, land issue with someone from Agulu, among others as some of the challenges they needed the commissioner’s assistance to address at the time.

Hon Tonycollins then appreciated the coordinator for her tirelessly efforts and sacrifices towards ensuring the wellbeing of this children and he pleaded to support them, and also get to some persons who are in position to meet with each of the their challenges.

He equal assured them that the current administration of Gov Charles Chukwuma is ready to partner with them because he is working tirelessly to see that no individual or group is left out in the state.

Hon Tonycollins blessed the children with warm reception since their visit according to him coincides with the festive of love at the moment.
